Indian engineers are one among the best in the world and they can develop innovative products and solutions for the market. I feel it is important to develop this talent pool and provide environment to foster innovation and growth in India. Government and organizations should invest in infrastructure to develop talent pool. All R & D activities are not going to yield desirable business results in short term but, it should not deteriorate from making investments in this segment. Today, innovative technologies are challenging the market and hence, in the long run engineering services requirement may come down due to automation. Hence, it is important, the organizations diversify and invest in the right talent pool to develop innovative products and solutions for the market to stay a step ahead of the game.
